HOW WE ARE HELPING:

We are helping by providing peer to peer guidance in a relaxed and fun environment. Our support is not strictly based on academics, but also on social and cultural aspects. The highlights of our form of support are:

  • One-on-one, peer-to-peer assistance on the student’s own schedule and pace

  • Insightful advice from successful and selected students to help newcomers learn faster and achieve more.

  • Communication through the native language that elucidates many things that newcomers are not exposed to.

  • Host conferences with successful former-immigrants who share their story of success and growth in this country.

SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT & CITIZENSHIP:

  • Teacher-student relationship

  • Developing friendships

  • School etiquette

  • School sports

  • Knowing your rights

  • Entertainment

  • Culture

  • Organize field trips about American History

  • Learning about other’s cultures and traditions
